From September 2010 early education funding will increase from 12 ½ to 15 hrs per wk for 38 wks per year (equates to school term times). Lunch clubs can now be included within funded hours. The revised session times at Mulbarton Children’s Centre will be :
Monday – 9.00 to 12.00
Tuesday – (a.m.) 9.00 to 12.00, (lunch club) 12.00 to 1.00, (p.m.) 1.00 to 3.30
Wednesday – 9.00 to 12.00
Thursday – 9.00 to 12.00
Friday – (a.m.) 9.00 to 12.00, (lunch club) 12.00 to 1.00, (p.m.) 1.00 to 3.30
Bookings will be for whole sessions only. i.e. 3 hrs mornings/2 ½ hrs afternoons/1 hr lunch clubs.
Options for taking up your 15 funded hours could be :
5 mornings = 15 hrs
- 2 mornings + 1 full day + 1 afternoon = 15 hrs
- 3 mornings + 1 full day = 15 ½ hrs (pay for ½ hr at £3 hr = £1.50)
- 1 morning + 2 full days = 16 hrs (pay for 1 hr = £3)
Parents may choose to use less than 15 of their funded hrs, taking combinations of mornings (3 hrs), afternoons (2 ½ hrs) and lunches (1 hr), but sessions cannot be split.
